Abevmy 400mg Injection contains Bevacizumab, an anticancer drug designed to inhibit tumor growth. It is used alongside other chemotherapy treatments to manage metastatic breast cancer, brain cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. Additionally, it is effective in treating cancers of the ovary, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneum. Patients should use reliable contraception during treatment and for at least six months after the final dose.
Abevmy 400mg Injection is not recommended for adolescents or children under 18. If you are planning for pregnancy, discuss with your doctor the potential impact on fertility, as this medication may affect ovarian function. Breastfeeding should be avoided during treatment, as the drug may interfere with your baby's growth and development.
This injection is typically administered in combination with other chemotherapy agents. Common side effects include constipation, loss of appetite, runny nose, fever, skin issues, and weight loss. Before starting Abevmy, inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, high blood sugar, gastrointestinal issues, or heart problems. Since the drug is associated with delayed wound healing and an increased risk of bleeding, it should not be taken 28 days before or after surgery. If you require dental surgery, let your doctor know before beginning treatment. Additionally, report any visual disturbances or confusion immediately to your doctor to avoid complications.
