Product Description

Imalek 400mg tablet contains imatinib, an antineoplastic drug classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in both adults and children”a condition where abnormal white blood cells grow uncontrollably.

Additionally, it is prescribed for:

• Philadelphia Chromosome-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph-positive ALL)
• Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST) “ Tumors that form in the walls of the digestive tract and may spread.
• Myelodysplastic/Myeloproliferative Diseases (MDS/MPD) “ Blood disorders in which abnormal cell growth occurs.
• Hypereosinophilic Syndrome (HES) and Chronic Eosinophilic Leukemia (CEL) “ Conditions involving excessive growth of eosinophils (a type of white blood cell).
• Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP) “ A rare skin cancer where abnormal tissue growth occurs.
