Myezom 2 mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication classified as a proteasome inhibitor. It contains the active ingredient Bortezomib and is used for the treatment of:
- Multiple Myeloma A type of cancer affecting plasma cells in the bone marrow
- Mantle Cell Lymphoma A rare cancer affecting the lymph nodes
This medication is often used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs such as pegylated liposomal doxorubicin, rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, dexamethasone, prednisolone, or thalidomide, particularly for patients who are ineligible for blood stem cell transplants.
