Imanib 400mg tablet contains imatinib, an antineoplastic drug classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is primarily used for treating chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in adults and children, a type of leukemia where abnormal white blood cells grow uncontrollably.

Uses of Imanib 400mg Tablet

This medication is prescribed for:

• Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML)
• Philadelphia Chromosome-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph-positive ALL)
• Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST) “ Tumors that develop in the digestive tract and may spread.
• Myelodysplastic/Myeloproliferative Diseases (MDS/MPD) “ Blood disorders where certain cells grow abnormally.
• Hypereosinophilic Syndrome (HES) and Chronic Eosinophilic Leukemia (CEL) “ Conditions causing excessive growth of eosinophils (a type of white blood cell).
• Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP) “ A rare cancer affecting the tissue beneath the skin.

Precautions and Warnings

Do NOT take Imanib 400mg if you:
